Hi Ms. Kathy,
thanks for the tip on tying shoes with the rope around the waste, then the yarn, etc. I teach autistic kids, ever teach any? Sounds like something that will work.

As a matter of fact, I have worked with children with autistism before. I find them very interesting. Some of my children with other disabilities, usually developmental delays, are in self-contained classrooms that may include autistic children. I have worked with autistic children with visual impairments as well.
I'm glad that the shoe tying techniques will help.
