Birmingham Focus on Blindness (BFB) will be giving professionals up-to-date information and skills to answer all questions related to driving and sight. The conference will be held on Sunday, November 27, at the Beeches Conference Centre in Bournville and will cover a range of topics with lecturers and professionals. Subjects covered will include legislative developments from the DVLA, the loss of independence as a result of people having to give up their licence, dispensing for drivers, suitable tints and visual field problems. Delegates will also be able to experience a blind driving challenge. The cost of the conference is £100 which includes lecture materials, lunch and refreshments.
