Hey, I was thinking, you know, Ludwig Van Beethoven composed a lot of his greatest works after he became deaf...I recall in Grade 6 or 7 doing a biography on him for some "challenge" project we were assigned...We had to research a certain person who had some sort of disability or sickness and how they overcame it and stuff and accomplished what they did. I don't have time to type up a biography...
I'm a musician myself. I've been playing piano at least seven years, clarinet for at least four year, and guitar for almost a year. Though Beethoven was not particularly an inspiration to me, his accomplishments are intriguing. I might write more later if I have time.
