Blind since birth, Tom Sullivan has succeeded as a singer, composer, actor, author and athlete. His memoir, If You Could See What I Hear, was turned into a major motion picture. Today, the Emmy-winning Sullivan is writing and producing for television and film. Featured on ESPN’s Superior Beings, he served as a consultant to Ben Affleck on the movie Daredevil, about a blind superhero.
Sharing His Story: Sullivan has written eight books, including Seeing Lessons: 14 Life Secrets I’ve Learned Along the Way, his latest. Also a golfer and member of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, he gained prominence through appearances on Good Morning America and The Tonight Show.
